The presence of meteors in the sky is known
only when they enter the earth’s atmosphere
because due to friction they burn with bright
streaks of light.
Some of them are very big so they are not burnt
up completely in the sky. They hit the surface of
the earth. Such meteors are called meteorites.

The sun is mainly made of hydrogen and helium gases. It is the main source of heat and light.

The small pieces of rocks which move around the sun are called meteoroids.
Comets are beautiful bodies made of dust particles and Frozen gases.
The moon is the only satellite of the Earth. It has no water, air and hence no life.
